Chamrousse is the favoured resort of the citizens of Grenoble. It is at an altitude of 1700m in a wonderfully wooded area and has a magnificent view of the Chartreuse, Vercors and Oisans massifs. The resort had its humble beginnings in the Belledonne massif and today regroups 3 villages linked by shuttles: Le Recoin, Roche Béranger and the Arselle plateau. The latter extends to the heart of an enormous spruce forest where our new residences are scattered. The alpine ski area has more than 90 km of ski runs for all levels of skiers and has excellent snow coverage everywhere.
“New” is the keyword this year: new ski runs, creation of a play area for beginners and new chairlifts. The snow park, big air, boarder cross and slope style course makes Chamrousse the undeniable leader of big thrills! More than 40 km of prepared runs offer the perfect setting for nature lovers, long-distance skiers and those who enjoy snow touring. Grenoble is only 35 minutes away since the Olympic Games in 1968 played a role in developing the roads to Chamrousse. |
